CONTRACT MANAGER - EXECUTION PHASE

We are looking for a Resource to be employed as Contract Manager, within the Contract Management Function, supporting Saipem Business Lines to deploy Contract Management activities, covering the Saipem portfolio during execution phase, including handover to the execution team in case of award. The selected candidate shall: Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts; Manage and mitigate risks associated with contracts; Ensure compliance with laws and regulations; Maintain records of all contract-related correspondence and documentation; Manage the workload in coordination with Tendering/Commercial, Project Management and Procurement Functions, collecting and merging inputs from other relevant internal Functions, including Insurance, Tax, Finance, Licensing and Business Integrity; Support the Procurement function in the review of subcontracts and purchase orders; Support the Finance structure in the review and definition of the financial instruments associated with the contracts (like bonds and other forms of guarantees, including parent company guarantees); Draft all related legal instruments and correspondence; Perform legal research, e.g., case law affecting Company market space; Have knowledge of industry standard contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO, IOCs, etc.); Assist in the resolution of legal and contractual matters, in coordination with the relevant Corporate Functions; Regularly report to the Company’s Corporate Management on the Contract Management activities. All under strictly confidential basis. Projects to be Worked On All bidding and tendering activities. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Law / Law & Economics / Business Administration. Requirements Energy or Construction contracts previous experience (5 years); Excellent command of the English language; Knowledge and experience of English Law; Previous experience in reviewing and advising on contracts; Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines; Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and influencing skills; Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Team player attitude; International mobility both for short missions and potentially for mid or long-term assignments.
