IT Operations Application Manager (Supply Chain)

Position Loro Piana, a leader in luxury goods, is seeking a dynamic and motivated IT Operation Application Manager to join our Supply Chain IT team. This role is critical in supporting the digital transformation of our Planning and Production processes. The successful candidate will act as a pivotal contact for our production sites within the Luxury Goods Division, leading groundbreaking SAP implementation projects while evolving and maintaining existing legacy industrial applications. Job Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for all Manufacturing IT-related activities within Loro Piana luxury goods division. Act as a Demand Manager, coordinating between central operations teams and LP Factories to assess needs and manage expectations. Team Leader for Manufacturing SAP implementation projects from inception through to successful deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Maintain robust governance structures for all implemented solutions, safeguarding system integrity and compliance with company standards. Liaise effectively with software vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and resolution of any issues. Foster strong collaborative relationships with Infrastructure & Technology teams to support cross-functional integration and system optimization. Engage proactively with other Corporate Functions to understand their needs and integrate them into technological solutions where appropriate. Oversee detailed analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and the rollout of new functionalities or systems enhancements, adhering to best practices in project management. Profile Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience in large-scale ERP implementations, preferably within the manufacturing sector of luxury goods or similar industries. Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes including Planning and Production workflows. Good project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Excellent communication skills with fluency in English required; additional language proficiency beneficial. Leadership attitude with experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. Strategic thinking coupled with hands-on problem-solving expertise. High level of comfort interfacing with various levels of management and stakeholders across multiple domains. Knowledge of SAP S4 – Module PP-MM is a plus. J-18808-Ljbffr
