Cultural change within a water utility requires executives with a clear vision and ambassadors with a strong conviction to change the system. Grundfos has the digital solutions – will you make it successful for our customer? As part of the WU Digital Customer Success, the Application Engineer acts as technical expert for the digital solutions made of software and hardware. Uses her/his knowledge and expertise to provide proactive and reactive support to the customer from the solution onboarding towards the adoption, expansion and renew. Verifies the continuous operation of the solution and ensures the customer uses it successfully. The position has a global impact across all countries where customers are based. You will be responsible for: Building and maintaining a detailed understanding of: The digital solutions The applications that solutions are deployed into Relevant Grundfos components and pumps the digital solutions work along with Once the digital subscription is signed: Support the customer in the solution configuration Provide technical insights on the customer pain points Partner with water utility stakeholders to optimize their operations Involvement during the entire execution (customer success journey stages identified as ONBOARDING, ADOPT, EXPAND, RENEW) Collaborating with internal stakeholders: Part of the customer success team Other digital and commercial teams Ensuring software value delivery: Realization of the overall customer success for several active deployments subscribed by medium to large water utilities Being a software coach for the customer: Leading technical meetings and discussions with water utility stakeholders Being comfortable in putting hands on the software Relentlessly pursuing: Expansion and renewal of the subscriptions, keeping churn rate at 0 Cross-selling other solutions to meet customer needs Supporting sales: Reviewing customer specifications or requirements and addressing them (also in case of tenders) Contributing to process continuous design and improvement: Proposing and creating documentation, tools, scripts, etc., needed to enhance the execution of the activities mentioned Ultimately, building a trustworthy partnership with the customers: Identifying champions and advocates Generating success stories Creating a community of digital users What do you need to apply? Bachelor’s degree in technical or engineering field, hydraulic, mechanical or electronic preferred Experience as application specialist/engineer or other technical roles in the water utility business Knowledge of water networks, remote control system and pump basics Ambition to drive technology and digital transformation programs for external customers Fluent in English verbal and written; in addition to being fluent in the local market language; third language is a plus Action oriented with a proactive approach, motivated to produce high quality results, capable to work in team, ability to manage multiple projects Why Grundfos?
