Interim General Counsel - Private Credit

Immediate opportunity for a General Counsel to join a growing private investment firm on an initial 6 month FTC with view to going permanent. Central London office, hybrid working, reporting direct to the CEO. You will have a broad remit of responsibilities including: leading implementation of private credit investment and financing structures, negotiating transaction documentation and providing advice on tax and regulatory matters working closely with the investment team through the full transaction process corporate governance, working with the Board, investors and executive team, attending investment committee meetings, and preparing related documentation employment law advice and general support on HR requirements provision of legal advice in relation to day to day running of the business such as commercial contract negotiation, lease agreements and dispute management To be considered for this role you will be 10 years PQE, background in private credit, finance, corporate restructuring ideally having trained in a top tier firm coupled with similar experience in-house at a senior level. Strong technical knowledge of the European private credit market is critical, as is being able to effectively work in a small, fast-paced team environment.
