Interim Financial Controller

Job title: Financial Controller Type on contract: Interim (possibility of a permanent role) Location: A short walk from Goodge Street station Hours: Full time Pattern of work: 3 days a week office based, the rest from home Salary: £65000 - £70000 Working as part of a growing finance team and reporting to the Director of Finance you will oversee the day to day running of the finance team ensuring timely and effective service delivery to the main organisation and relevant subsidiaries. In your role as Financial Controller your day to day duties will include; Oversee, prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Ensure there are effective financial controls in place, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance Budgeting and forecasting, including the annual budgets, forecasts Proving commentary and insights to support strategic planning Lead on the audit process, including audit preparation & audit schedule Look after the day to day running of the finance team Stakeholder management; working closely with other teams and department heads The skills you will to the position of Financial Controller will include; Experience in similar role ideally in a charity or education sector Professional accounting qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting qualifications Excellent analytical skills and build reporting tools Optimise business processes and controls This is busy and diverse role suitable for anyone who is interested in working with a Director of Finance who is willing strategically develop you.
