Senior Quantity Surveyor Required in West London Salary: Dependant on experience Length: Permanent Location: Shepherds Bush, London Project: Mixed-use development Start: ASAP Venn Group are currently looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor based on site in West London to manage a major mixed – use development project. Day to day duties include: Maximise the commercial position of the project for whilst maintaining positive Client relationships Will be overseeing Project QS, Assistant QS and Trainee QS Utilise expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management to drive project success. Take a lead role in the valuation process where applicable including ensure valuations and invoices are issued on time Producing all pre-construction tender documents and conducting all procurement responsibilities such as tender meetings and analysis for selection of contractors. Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, materials, and labour costs to provide accurate forecasts and reports Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing Monitor project progress, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing proactive solutions. The successful candidate will have: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction related Degree Commercial or mixed sector experience Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, cost estimating software, and project management systems
