Job Description

Legal Counsel 12-18 Months FTC Telecommunications Manchester Area £70,000 (Flexible depending on experience) Legal Counsel opportunity to join a telecommunications company based in the Manchester area. As the Legal Counsel, you will join a small legal team to assist with general commercial matters as the business goes through a period of change. The successful Legal Counsel opportunity will involve; Assisting senior stakeholders of the business with negotiating and drafting general BAU commercial contracts which will include but not be limited to supplier contracts, technology, and IT contracts, terms and conditions Working with different departments across the business including sales and marketing departments and supporting commercial decisions Support the General Counsel and Head of Legal on complex projects As the successful Legal Counsel you will have; Experience working on the customer rather than the supplier side e.g. Telecomms/ utilities/ software or IT services or those that have worked in a regulated environment would be beneficial Strong commercial contract experience, and procurement experience are desirable Experience working in a regulated industry that is subject to changes and a fast-paced caseload This role offers the opportunity to start ASAP however candidates on longer notice periods will also be considered, with office attendance 1 day a week and the opportunity to work the rest of the week from home, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
