Role Description We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Finance/Accounting Specialist to manage and oversee the financial and accounting activities of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the hospitality sector, and in-depth knowledge of the USALI system. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and preparing advanced financial reports, including detailed financial statements, P&L reports, and budgets, supporting management in strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Prepare advanced financial reports, including comprehensive financial statements, Profit & Loss (P&L) reports, and annual budgets. Ensure implementation and adherence to USALI standards for hospitality accounting. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Oversee daily accounting processes, including bank reconciliations, revenue and expense management, and cash control. Collaborate with the management team to optimize financial processes and improve the hotel’s profitability. Ensure compliance with Italian and European fiscal and accounting regulations. Provide support during internal and external audits. Requirements Proven experience in preparing advanced financial reports and P&L analysis. In-depth knowledge of USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry). Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills. Fluency in Italian and English is essential. Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting. At least 10 years of experience in financial or accounting roles, preferably in luxury hotels.
