Job Description

Illumia Spa is a leading power and gas trading company that has a strong presence in Europe, with further plans to globally expand our business. We are looking for a motivated team player who thrives while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, who is not afraid of being challenged, and who above all wants to learn and develop. To be successful in this role, you must have a flair for numbers and logical reasoning, and you must be able to tackle and quickly solve problems. To do list (what will you do): Trade power across our active intraday markets in Europe; Contribute in creating and executing trading strategies; Take an active part in developing algorithmic trading models and quantitative models; Obtain expert understanding of the key drivers of the power market; Conduct market analysis for active and new markets; Provide open and honest feedback; Required experience (also known as hard skills): A Mathematical, Physics, Statistical, Finance or similar degree; At least 1 year experience in an intraday power trading role; Good knowledge of Excel, Python, VBA; Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team; Accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail; Strong interest in trading and a result-driven attitude; Able to work well under pressure; Excellent organisational and work planning skills; What to expect: A contractual framework tailored to you, taking into account your experience and skills; A young and dynamic working environment; A set of goods and services to support you at work and at home; Cultural, sporting, and value-based initiatives and events dedicated to you; J-18808-Ljbffr
