Corporate Buyer - Direct Procurement

At Stevanato Group (SG), we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Corporate Buyer to join our Procurement team. The Corporate Buyer will directly manage and globally coordinate some Direct Procurement Categories related to our Drug Containment Solutions division, reporting to the Procurement Manager at our HQ in Piombino Dese (Padova). Your key accountabilities You will: directly manage the assigned Direct Procurement Categories in accordance with SG’s targets and guidelines in terms of cost, time, quality and sustainability. Plan, direct and manage procurement activities (including sourcing strategy, request for quotation, bid review, supplier negotiation & awarding) to get the results delivered. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on sourcing options and best practices. Monitor the raw materials and market trends. Manage supplier relationships, including regular performance evaluations, contract renewals, and claims resolution. Conduct global suppliers’ scouting activities, according to SG’s guidelines and participate in new vendors’ qualification process. Provide the budget proposal and manage it properly during the year. Analyze and negotiate suppliers’ contracts. Draft and develop long-term category strategies’ implementation. Be part of improvement projects, bringing fresh ideas to enhance SG’s procurement background. Your background A technical education: degree in Engineering or Business Economics . 5 years of experience in a similar role in a well-structured manufacturing company. Fluent in Italian and English. Strong communication skills : excellent negotiating and influencing skills. A team player attitude: good at building positive relationships with internal and external peers. Analytical, strategic thinker, result and action-oriented, decision taker. Excellent knowledge of MS Office package. A proven record in supplier management and negotiation is a must.
