No Offer Description The pneumoperitoneum induced during laparoscopic surgery, associated with Trendelenburg position, reproduces the conditions of a terrestrial analogue for SANS (Space Flight Associated Neuro-ocular Syndrome). Aim of the study is to investigate the morphological and functional ocular changes that occur during laparoscopic surgery to improve knowledge regarding possible short-medium term effects of minimally invasive surgery on the visual and campimetric ability of patients. These data will also be used as terrestrial analogues for the development of mathematical and Artificial Intelligence models aimed at understanding the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying the onset of SANS, and the identification of possible predictive factors of SANS.
