No Offer Description This project aims to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms for the harmonization of multimodal and multicentric MRI data to improve the understanding of brain aging and neurodegenerative diseases. Using explainable AI techniques, we will model brain aging considering both endogenous and exogenous factors, differentiating between physiological and pathological cases. In collaboration with the ENIGMA consortium (Enhancing NeuroImaging Genetics through Meta-Analysis), the project will integrate data from multiple international sites to examine associations between neuroimaging and genetic, behavioral, and environmental factors. The goal is to separate the effects of physiological aging from disease-related changes, improving diagnosis and personalized treatment strategies.
