Business Development Representative

We're a small, young(ish) team currently going through a 7-figure funding round We're now taking interviews for three roles we have available and starting in January. doja.ai is the company that big tech is talking about. We are that company that is augmenting white-collar jobs using generative technologies and helping the world prepare for the future. Read this and please don't apply if you don't agree: We work in the field of Applied AI, this means we are actively deploying AI software into small businesses as the AI wave takes off. If you can't handle a incredible amount of change and growth, this isn't for you. We're a close-knit team that works hard and also plays hard - if you don't want to join in social occasions this probably isn't for you. You need to be an AI maximalist - we really believe this technology is going to change the world, especially healthcare. If you get hung up on those that will be negatively affected by the technology, this isn't for you. What we are after: A confident, sales trained individual that is keen to understand a suite of technology products and the market conditions in order to sell it. Experience with being at the grim face of cold calling is appreciated. Organised and data-driven. Hard working & able to take a joke. Keen to make an impact in a fast growing organisation at a very exciting time. Someone that has experienced the dreggs of working in a corporate, soul killing job and wants to feel less like a cog in a machine. Minimum 2:1 at University. Slightly existential about AI taking over the world. What you most likely want to know: £30k base generous commission Direct exposure to our senior strategic partners as we work on 6 & 7 figure deals. Hybrid working (we work from home usually 2 days a week depending on schedules, however we are team first and genuinely enjoy being in the office together). AI-training provided and not required, but definitely favourable (understanding frontier technology like chatgpt, claude, perplexity). We work between 2 offices in a coworking space, St Peters Square & Dalton Place.
