Job Description

A stunning B&I location in London for a a British multinational consumer healthcare company. Catering for approximately 300 people daily. We offer an innovative honesty grab & go offering, breakfast bar, hot lunch options, and a fabulous coffee bar as well as occasional hospitality and pop-ups. The role is Monday to Thursday, 32 hours a week. We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in London. Your work will be split between our central production kitchen in South London and the location on the Southbank. You will assist in preparing the food in the kitchen and then finishing, displaying and delivering it at the location. You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level. You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset. Key responsibilities: To work well both in a team of chefs and alone providing catering services to client staff To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company brand standards Interacting with customers at the service counter Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled. Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed. You will have the following skills: A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service An all-round team player and people person Innovation and passion for great food An organised Chef with attention to detail Understand the basics of food cost and wastage. Knowledge / competencies: Ability to demonstrate good understanding and use of verbal English. Ability to demonstrate good standard of written English and reading skills.
