Sales Manager

Sales Manager Location : Warrington Salary: c£45,000 per annum, plus bonus benefits (Negotiable - depending on experience) The Role Reporting to the General Manager the purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day sales & business development activity and growth of the business across its current and future customer-base. In this role, you will manage KPIs for the Sales & BD Department and oversee sales / commercial activities undertaken across the business, including within the Logistics Team, to ensure development and retention of key clients. You will be responsible for managing the budget for sales & business development activities in line with forecast, manage staff performance, (including hiring, induction and training for the sales team), review the sales processes & procedures, develop and implement continuous improvement, build and maintain excellent customer relationships and, all in all, to seek to continually grow turnover and gross profit ensuring they deliver a world class customer service throughout. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field Proven track record of delivering profitable sales growth. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Be highly organised Experience of leading and developing a team is a must. Be a self-starter who is confident and enthusiastic, highly resilient and good under pressure and who can naturally develop relationships with clients and colleagues Easily able to articulate strategy into day-to-day operations.
