Senior Software Engineer - Belfast

My client are looking for a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to shape the future of a scalable, high-performance platform built with customer-centric design. Tech Stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Kafka, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Kinesis, TypeScript, React. Experience with other production-scale stacks will be considered (e.g., Go, Java, Scala, C# ) What You’ll Do: As part of an Agile cross-functional team, you’ll: Design and build user provisioning and access management solutions. Develop authentication, authorisation, and auditing platform capabilities. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to create impactful solutions. Shape the technical direction of the platform with scalable, secure, and reliable practices. Mentor and support team members while driving continuous improvement. About You: Hands-on problem solver with 7 years of development experience. Proficient in a high-level language (Python preferred; Go, Java, Scala, or C# also considered , although some experience of Python a distinct advantage ). Skilled in API design, event-driven architectures, and high-volume data processing. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, public cloud services, and observability tools. Strong communicator with a track record of leading cross-timezone collaboration. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with authentication/identity management tools (Auth0, Okta).
