HGV Class 2 Night Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on nights. Hours: Nights - 23:00pm Pay Rates (2 payment options): - £13.25 (PAYE). - £14.85 (with holiday pay). Location: Warrington, WA5. Job Type : Ongoing position. The role: Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels. Collect parcels from well-known customers, operating a tail lift and pump truck. Handle occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement as required. Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). . Minimum of 6 months experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test. Full understanding of WTD legislation. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
