Teaching Assistant Location: Wakefield , West Yorkshire Contract: Full-Time Salary: Competitive We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive Primary school in the Wakefield region. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive learning environment and make a significant impact on our KS2 pupils’ educational journey. Day-to-day of the role: Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging lessons to enhance the learning experience of students. Provide support to individual pupils or small groups to ensure they achieve their full potential. Help create and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Participate actively in school events and activities, contributing to the school’s community spirit. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a relevant educational role. Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents. A positive, patient, and caring approach to student development.
