Building Surveyor

Our client, based in Bath or Bristol, is currently recruiting for a Residential Surveyor on a permanent contract. The position is due to start on notice. The salary is circa. £35,000-£45,000 per annum plus additional benefit. The ideal candidate will have experience performing Level 2&3 pre-purchase homebuyer surveys and wider knowledge on housing maintenance. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Completing level’s 1-3 pre-purchase surveys in residential homes in a new clientele area for the business Inspecting a range of different properties where maintenance may have been neglected for some time and having a good understanding of elements that need checking Writing reports advising on maintenance, hidden defects, remedies and costs Experience required: Level 1-3 homebuyer surveys Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Housing maintenance Remedial measures Schedule of rates Rewards and Benefits: Generous annual leave allowance Pension contributions etc. Working hours: Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm On average 5 surveys a week Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
