They are seeking a full-time Property Services Manager to lead a team conducting audits of property service charges and managing the UK property portfolio from a contract and lease perspective. This role involves managing the end-to-end review process, negotiating refunds for overcharges, and fostering positive relationships with landlords and their agents. You will have the flexibility to structure your work and will collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize cost savings through innovative procedural improvements. Role Responsibilities Extensive experience in conducting property service charge audits, including reviewing lease agreements, financial reports, and landlord invoices to identify and resolve discrepancies. Develop and manage cost control systems, including invoice reviews, budget analysis, and forecasting mechanisms. Lead and mentor a team of auditors, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output across the portfolio. Review and validate landlords' service charge invoices against lease agreements and financial records. Negotiate with landlords and managing agents to resolve discrepancies and recover overcharges effectively. Collaborate with real estate, finance, and facility teams to improve audit procedures and maximize savings. Experience Required Proven experience in lease administration, property management, commercial real estate brokerage, accounting, or related fields with expertise in interpreting lease language. Strong knowledge of property management standards and regulations in the UK, including familiarity with RICS professional guidelines and best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage a team of professionals within a real estate or accounting group. Strong organisational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
