If you're passionate about navigating the legal landscape and safeguarding our innovative spirit, this role is for you As our General Counsel, you'll be the legal compass guiding LGH through uncharted territories. Your expertise will ensure we stay compliant, mitigate risks, and seize opportunities with confidence. You'll be the trusted advisor to our leadership team, providing strategic insights and legal wisdom. Key Responsibilities: Legal Sage: Offer precise and timely legal advice to our leadership and management, addressing a wide array of business challenges. Master of Contracts: Craft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements that align with our business goals and legal standards. Deal Maker: Lead the charge on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and financings, conducting due diligence and negotiating terms that drive our success. Compliance Champion: Ensure we adhere to all laws, regulations, and industry standards, upholding the highest levels of corporate governance. Dispute Resolver: Manage legal disputes with finesse, overseeing litigation and arbitration, and collaborating with external counsel to find optimal solutions. Risk Navigator: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring our business initiatives are legally sound. Governance Guru: Support corporate governance activities, including board meetings, shareholder agreements, and regulatory filings. External Counsel Conductor: Orchestrate relationships with external law firms, ensuring cost-effective and efficient legal support. Document Custodian: Oversee our legal documentation, maintaining meticulous records of contracts, agreements, and other critical documents. Ideal Candidate Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Extensive experience in real estate law, including commercial and residential properties. A proven track record in a similar role, preferably within a corporate environment. Deep knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and thrive under pressure.
