Job Description
A superb new opportunity has arisen to work directly for an incredibly successful entrepreneur led group of businesses in the role of Finance and Operations Manager. This position would suit a motivated and qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) keen to be strategically and operationally involved with a highly commercial organisation encompassing c.30 companies across multiple sectors. Reporting directly to the Chairman (onsite 1-2 days per week), this role requires someone happy and willing to be ‘hands-on' whilst managing the finance and operational functions. Main duties will include: Finance Quarterly management accounts VAT returns Year end Stock management and control Asset management Ensuring timely payment of bills and invoices Balance sheet reconciliation Credit control Account reconciliation Operations Day to day management of office Ensuring all facilities are maintained and well equipped Recruitment for internal staff Implementing efficient processes and working in a strategic fashion to enable the business to develop further.
