The Role As their Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving ScotBio’s expansion, leveraging your expertise to unlock new opportunities and establish partnerships in untapped markets. To support them in reaching their growth potential, your role will involve: Crafting and executing bold sales strategies to boost market share for innovative natural products. Developing and delivering a comprehensive sales plan to increase market share for their health food additives and natural products. Forging partnerships with industry leaders, including food manufacturers and distributors. Championing ScotBio’s innovations at trade shows, building meaningful connections with clients and partners. Using your sales experience to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting their needs. Required Experience To thrive in this role, it would be beneficial to have the following experience and skills: An established track record of B2B sales delivery and business development within the food additives and/or natural ingredients industry. Spirulina experience would be highly desirable. An awareness of key market forces, regulations, and trends within the food additives and health foods markets. The ability to communicate complex product information to diverse audiences, including presenting and negotiating with key decision markers. The ability to travel across the UK to meet with clients, attend events, and explore new business opportunities.
