Haringey Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Culture, Strategy, and Engagement directorate within the Digital and Change business unit. Role Purpose: As a Senior Business Analyst, you will translate traditional business processes into practical solutions that align with Haringey's transformation objectives. Your work will focus on identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and enhanced customer experiences. Utilizing cutting-edge tools and methodologies, you will drive innovation and efficiency, presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and guiding strategic decision-making processes. Main Responsibilities: Contribute to service/business plans and planning/development activities. Plan, arrange, and facilitate meetings, workshops, and relations with stakeholders, including residents, end-users, and frontline staff. Lead on embedding business analysis in the Commercial Client function. Create new standards of practice for change practitioners. Lead service and system analysis using established methodologies. Develop acceptance criteria and user acceptance testing by writing test scripts against acceptance criteria. Identify and develop innovative solutions for service improvement. Network with external partners and other authorities to research best practices and undertake benchmarking. Support and advocate for business change across the council. Implement new processes from design to delivery that improve resident/staff experience. Produce detailed specifications and process maps of recommended solutions. Provide expert business analytics and data analysis through co-production with stakeholders. Capture lessons learnt and report to the business to ensure continuous improvement. Requirements: Experience collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, including residents and end-users. Professional qualification in Business Analysis or 3 years of experience in Business Analysis. Understanding of relational and non-relational databases and data flow. Familiarity with setting, monitoring, and reporting measurable product performance targets. Deep understanding of business analysis and best practices. Excellent communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Experience as a change practitioner in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, results-oriented, creative, and innovative in finding solutions to complex problems.
