Job Advert: Electrical Engineer Location: Surrey Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 per annum discretionary bonus Contract: PermanentWe’re seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. Flexibility is essential, with some evening and weekend shifts during busy periods. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance for site services and equipment. Test, inspect, and certify distribution boards and fixed wiring installations. Diagnose and repair wiring faults; maintain and install emergency lighting. Work on plant room electrical systems, including motors, pumps, and FCUs. Participate in on-call rota and seasonal shift patterns. Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Skills & Qualifications: Electrical qualification (e.g., Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3). BS7671 17th/18th Edition and C&G 2391 or equivalent qualifications. Experience in building services and BMS/Mechanical systems. Full UK driving licence. Strong problem-solving, reporting, and organisational skills. Personal Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and professional. Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
