Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Temporary) Location: Stalybridge, Tameside Contract: Temporary, Full-Time (February Half Term 2025 - July 2025) Key Stages: KS1 & KS2 We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team at a school in Stalybridge, Tameside. This is a temporary, full-time position commencing after the February half-term break and continuing until the end of the academic year in July 2025. Role Overview: As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and development across Key Stages 1 and 2. Working closely with teachers, you will help deliver engaging lessons, provide one-on-one and group support, and assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Support teaching and learning activities across KS1 and KS2. Assist with planning and delivering tailored interventions for individual and small groups of pupils. Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional growth. Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment. Support classroom management and ensure lessons run smoothly. Provide feedback to teachers regarding pupil progress and areas for improvement. Requirements: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Previous experience working in a primary school setting. Confidence in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a busy school environment. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
