Job Description
Chaberton Professionals , a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the research and selection of Middle Management profiles, is currently looking for a Finance and FP&A Manager for an important group with a worldwide presence specialized in the production of comfort solutions. Reporting to the CFO , the Finance and FP&A Manager has a strategic role and works closely with senior management to increase a company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan. Job Responsibilities : Ensure Accounting, Treasury and Tax compliance, push the improvement in terms of quality and efficiency, working capital, profitability and risk control; Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long-term financial and strategic plan; Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts based on the organisation's corporate plans, anticipated revenues/costs, and capital investments, to guarantee that budget forecast activities are accurate and dependable; Monitor the variances in the Financial performance in comparison to the budget; Prepare monthly financial results, annual budget, and take care of forecast updates on a monthly basis, organizing internally for the financial planning and analysis process; Produce models to project long-term growth and determine the impacting business factors; Monitor stock levels and obsolete inventory improvement and manage working capital to improve asset efficiency; Analyse financial and operational results to better understand company performance and efficiency; Utilise BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance; Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results; Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost centre results; Review operations and recommend new productivity or cost-saving initiatives; Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions; Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts; Evaluate previous budgets and expenditures to develop and implement future budgets; Communicate results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation, and streamlining of operations; Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts, and profitability; Support and coordinate extraordinary projects in the phase of pre-analysis and post-analysis related to business and financial synergies and integration. Key Competences: Minimum of ten/fifteen years of relevant experience in finance department, at least 8 as a team leader; Academic background in economics; Experience in extraordinary operations is required; Significant analytical skillset, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools; Strong quantitative abilities; Able to solve complex problems; Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trustful relationships; Very good knowledge of the English language; Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages; Open to travel up to 30% of the time.
