Country Manager

Country Manager Location: Milan Our client, who are a fast going ecommerce platform, are seeking a highly motivated professional to lead the strategic growth and operations of our platform in the Italian market. This role involves driving seller engagement, optimizing supply chains, and collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional results in key product categories on ecommerce platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Italian market, leveraging regional market trends and European supply chain advantages to expand business opportunities. Drive seller acquisition and management, tailoring operational strategies to suit sellers of varying scales and align with platform needs. Stay informed about market trends, competitive activity, and consumer preferences in Italy, especially within luxury goods, to identify opportunities and drive category growth. Innovate business models based on the unique characteristics of the Italian seller ecosystem to strengthen supply channels. Work closely with internal teams, including industry, supply chain, and product departments, to address seller challenges and implement solutions that enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher, with at least 5 years of experience in cross-border e-commerce operations, ideally with a focus on ecommerce retail sales (B2C) Fluency in English; familiarity with European market trends and seller networks. Proficiency in Italian or an additional European language is highly desirable. Fluency in Chinese is highly advantageous Proven success in building and scaling projects from the ground up, demonstrating a strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking. Highly proactive with excellent communication and project management skills, capable of working effectively across teams and functions. Strong market insight and data-driven decision-making abilities, with experience planning and executing medium- to long-term operational strategies.
