DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE The Regional Supply Chain Manager will have the opportunity to support and co-ordinate the implementation of procurement best practices between the local structures and the Global Sourcing organisation, ensuring the correct application of procurement policies (Global, Regional and Local) and fostering effective communication between the different company functions. He/she will be in charge of communicating with the factories to find new developments for Europe Procurement meeting and follow requests/changes by the Bata OpCos Collection Managers, follow the development of confirmation samples, covering Purchase Orders issuance and processing, orders/packaging instruction, direct liaison with Bata OpCos Collection Managers on all orders and purchasing requirements, facilitate the audit and shipping processes in cooperation with the Global Procurement office. KEY CHALLENGES Communicate with suppliers to find new developments for Europe Procurement meeting Plan, lead and manage team to handle all work related to production planning for all orders placed through Global Procurement/BPS (Bata Purchase System) Monitor supplier production schedule for all orders to meet set and confirmed ex-factory date Ensure that all information and relative modification will be input into BPS and industrialization file Assist in driving commitments and orders working closely with Bata OpCos Collection Manager in coordination with Global Supply Chain Communicate to the suppliers any changes made from Bata OpCos Collection Managers Receive, check and process official Purchase Orders from Bata OpCos Follow up on specific packaging instructions from OpCos to suppliers Plan, manage and monitor all orders to ensure on-time delivery Support all shipping processes with an overview of the supplier booking schedule and EDT Assist on CBD collection and analysis in coordination with Global and Regional sourcing costing team Assist in managing and maintenance of the Global Procurement/BPS Vendors Listing Assist Global Audit and compliance team to check and carry out all the necessary documents for onboarding into BPS QA & QC requirements coordination and follow-up with Global and Regional quality control team Claims management Handling LC (Letter of Credit) opening process Manage Production Planning and Orders Management teams’ daily functions Support shipping and logistics team Assist in KPI and business report preparations CORE COMPETENCIES Strong knowledge of shoe-making – how to create a pattern and main production processes Pursues quality in accomplishing tasks paying attention to details and verifying information Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks Good problem-solving skills Result orientation and decision making Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and able to lead a team Flexibility and adaptability Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and follow-up Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Preferable knowledge of AS400 Good knowledge of Italian Good knowledge of written and spoken English LOCATION Limena (PD) Possibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training period J-18808-Ljbffr
