Business Development Manager

We have a fantastic work force full of people who are self-motivated, innovative, independent, hard working and fun Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager at C2. Working directly and with the full support of C2's Chief Operating Officer, the BD Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining prospect relationships, creating strategic partnerships and coordinating industry events . This role is based in our modern Glasgow city centre offices with home working days of Monday and Friday. An idea of daily/weekly duties: ● Developing new business opportunities ● Supporting the sales cycle from beginning to close ● Maintaining the CRM ● Issuing quotations ● Assisting the Marketing team ● Negotiating sales, prices, contracts and payments ● Promotion of new product lines ● Advising clients on technical queries relating to products, installations and relevant upgrades ● Developing strategic sales plans and effective sales pitches ● Providing intelligence to Senior Leadership Team on competition, product feedback, market trends etc ● Production of weekly and monthly reports What type of Skills and experience do you need? ● 3 years experience in IT Sales ● SAAS background preferred ● Experience working with a CRM ● Excellent communication skills ● Active listening skills What type of person should you be? ● Emotionally intelligent ● Very self-motivated ● Able to work independently ● Outgoing ● Professional Working hours, benefits etc ● 2 Friday’s off per month ● Working hours Mon – Thurs 8:30am – 5pm, Friday 8:30am-3:30pm ● 30 days holiday, inclusive of 9 stats ● Modern city centre office with excellent facilities ● Extended lunch breaks for gym, exercise etc ● Social events and team days ● Salary is fully negotiable and down to experience
