Electronic Design Engineer

We have a fantastic new opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join a state-of-the-art R&D company based in Cambridgeshire. You will be working across a plethora of different cutting-edge development projects across industries such as Medical Devices, Consumer Electronics, Automation, Wireless Communications, IoT, Robotics, autonomous tech, etc. Most of the work will be on Medical Devices development. You will join the friendly and supportive Electronics and Systems design team where you will be involved in a multitude of different electronics development projects seeing them develop from concept to a deliverable. Electronics Design Engineer requirements Excellent Degree in electronic engineering or physics or a relevant discipline. At least a 2.1 and from a top University. A strong understanding of analogue and digital circuit design. Proficiency in using electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers, etc.) to validate and investigate circuits. Along with knowledge of design verification, compliance testing and test automation methodologies. Fluency in schematic and PCB design tools for generating manufacturing files (e.g. Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during the design, development and testing phases of projects. Familiarity with EMC standards, EMC measurements and design to meet for EMC Previous experience in medical devices development beneficial.
