JOB- Quality Manager (Medical Devices) LOCATION- Welwyn Garden City TERM- Permanent SALARY- £50,000 to £65,000 per annum (plus benefits) Premier Engineering is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our client’s team in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Our client is a well-established company in the Medical Devices sector, and they are looking for a dedicated professional to lead their quality assurance and control processes. The Quality Manager will ideally have the following attributes: Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a manufacturing environment Relevant qualifications in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field (BEng, HND, CQI, etc.) Strong understanding of quality standards and regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 13485 etc.) Excellent leadership and team management skills Proficiency with quality management systems and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written High attention to detail and organizational skills The Quality Manager role will involve: Leading and managing the quality assurance and control processes across the manufacturing site Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards Conducting audits, inspections, and quality reviews to identify areas for improvement Collaborating with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues Managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and driving corrective and preventive actions Providing training and support to staff on quality standards and procedures Preparing quality reports and presenting findings to senior management Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, including your availability and salary expectations.
