The Opportunity In this role, you will oversee the procurement of electrical engineering equipment and services, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, develop procurement strategies for specific categories, and implement action plans. Additionally, you will apply best practices in supply base management to achieve organisational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in electrical engineering, providing valuable expertise in sourcing within this category and a deep understanding of the technical specifications involved in procurement projects. About You Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, training or qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, CIPS Accreditation. Experience working on procurement projects requiring collaboration with engineering teams to define technical specifications. Proficiency in reviewing technical specifications and ensuring compliance with electrical engineering standards in procurement processes. Extensive experience (15 years) in leading procurement category strategies and supplier relationship management activities in electrical engineering.
