Job Opportunity: Building Services Mechanical Engineer (Fire) Location: Cape Town, Western Cape Sector: Engineering / Construction Job Type: Permanent Hire Resolve is seeking a candidate on behalf of our client for the position of Building Services Mechanical Engineer (Fire). Job Description: Develop fire safety and compliance designs for construction projects across South Africa and internationally. Manage small to medium projects with minimal guidance; manage large projects with experience or as part of the company's fire design team. Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical building services and fire safety design (SANS standards). Experience designing fire protection systems, including firefighting equipment, smoke evacuation, stair pressurization, and fire sprinkler systems. Experience in thermal modeling is a plus. Represent the company in client and site meetings and conduct surveys. Assist with tender preparation and general project management tasks. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel. Ideal candidate: Motivated individual looking for challenging projects, with a focus on obtaining ECSA professional registration (if not already registered).
