Overall Scope of Role: Cluster Manager, In Venue Hospitality (IVH) Event Production is a key role with a primary responsibility for providing operational support across multiple IVH programs occurring within various Olympic Sporting Venues during the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Cluster Manager works closely with: The Director of Event Production. The 3 other cluster managers. On Location internal Functional Areas (FAs). MICO26 relevant interlocutors, in particular, the Venue team. The Cluster Manager will focus on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences for On Location guests inside Olympic Sporting Venues within the assigned cluster. The clusters are divided as follows: Cluster 1 : Milano (04 Competition Venues Opening Ceremony Stadium) Cluster 2: Cortina (04 Competition Venues) Cluster 3: Valtellina - Bormio / Livignio (03 Competition Venues) Cluster 4: Val di Fiemme - Predazzo / Tesero / Verona (02 Competition Venues Closing Ceremony Arena) All planning will be done centrally, from On Location Milano Offices with site visits if necessary. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Work in collaboration with Director, In Venue Hospitality to manage venue contracts and deliver the best hospitality programs. Update Director Event Production of day-to-day progresses and challenges. Work in partnership with the commercial product architecture team to manage budget per Olympic venue. Manage overall project milestones and timelines. Manage P&L and track expenditures. Manage suppliers and vendors. Attend all meetings in relation to his/her cluster and report on behalf of the Event Production team. General Responsibilities: Main point of contact on-site, representing the Event Production Team. Develop overall operational planning at the Competition Venues as it relates to the On Location guest experience. Update existing or upcoming operational tools. Lead production meetings with key staff. Forecast and maintain budget. Administrative tasks including expense reports and monthly days reports. Other Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and resolving problems. Travel: Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule. Available to travel (domestic) for work during holidays and key event times. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Sports Management, Event Management or a related field, or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing events and/or brand activations. Experience in managing and producing events in Stadium and Temporary Structure environments. Speaks and writes fluent business English; Italian is preferred. Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite. Highly organized and process-oriented. Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Flexibility and positive attitude to work long days, evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
