Locum Sonographer (Head and Neck Ultrasound) needed for long term locum contact in Portsmouth Location: Portsmouth Contract Length: 6-12 months Working Days: 4-5 days per week Pay Rate: £50.00 per hour Start Date: ASAP Job Description: Trident Healthcare are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our NHS clients team for a long-term locum contract in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing head and neck ultrasound scans, including Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) procedures. This role specifically involves scanning thyroids, salivary glands, and other related areas. Key Responsibilities: Conduct head and neck ultrasound scans with precision and care. Perform Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) procedures as required. Accurately assess and interpret ultrasound images. Maintain detailed patient records and ensure high standards of patient care. Collaborate with medical professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic information. Requirements: Proven experience in head and neck ultrasound scanning. Proficiency in performing FNA procedures. Strong knowledge of thyroid and salivary gland imaging. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
