Quantity Surveyor

GVR Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor of all levels to join a well-established drylining contractor based in Essex. This particular client specialise in suspended ceilings, plastering and SFS projects across the Commercial, Residential, Healthcare and Educational sector plus more. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will: Be reporting to the Senior Surveyor/Commercial Manager Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies Ensure the commercial targets are achieved including project and programme cost, quality and time. Managing the costs of the project, budgeting, and cash flows Carry out measurement for valuations Analyse progress and reporting Identify Opportunities and risks Attend post tender and pre-contract meetings. Prepare summary reports for the client and other stakeholders The Quantity Surveyor must have/be: A degree in Quantity Surveying or construction related Experience working for a well-established main contractor 5 – 10 years Quantity Surveying experience Experience working on Fit out and refurbishment projects Excellent analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decision and reporting Proven track record of delivering construction projects Excellent communication and oral skills Stable employment history High-performing individual Versatile Excellent time keeping skills If you match the requirements and are interested in the position, then please get in touch
