Key Responsibilities: Experienced within an Architectural metal work environment Ability to successful manage multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines Analyse project specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates Evaluate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to create accurate budgets Assess risks and incorporate contingencies where necessary Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements Engage with supply chain to obtain competitive pricing Prepare detailed proposal documents and cost summaries for client presentations Track and manage changes to project estimates during the planning and execution phases Stay updated on industry trends, cost fluctuations, and new technologies to improve accuracy Conduct market research to ensure competitive and fair pricing strategies Able to understand and interpret technical drawings, producing 3D images (SketchUp) would be advantageous Personality: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines Strong numerical and problem-solving skills Team-oriented with a proactive approach to collaboration Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools
