Job Description

Job Title: Finance Manager Location: West Kent (3 days a week in office) Contract: Fixed Term Contract - 11 Months About the Role: A leading global company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial processes and statutory compliance during a critical growth period. Reporting to the CFO, this role will manage a small team and ensure the accurate preparation of financial records, statutory accounts, and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end and year-end financial closures. Oversee ledgers, treasury tasks, and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare statutory accounts, VAT returns, and payroll tax submissions. Develop budgets and forecasts for overheads and CAPEX. Coordinate audits, internal controls, and compliance initiatives. Lead and develop a team of two finance professionals. Skills & Experience Required: Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) with 5 years in financial accounting. Proficiency in ERP and MS Excel. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting. Proven leadership and team management experience. Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
