No Offer Description The research will focus on the study of composite materials in the field of mechanical engineering. In particular, the topics of modeling through numerical simulation of the mechanical behavior and damage mechanisms of materials and structures in composite materials, and the design of mechanical structures, particularly lightweight structures, will be addressed. The researcher will also carry out teaching activities in English, in the disciplinary field of mechanical design and machine construction (SSD ING-IND/14), with a focus on the design and numerical simulation of the structural behavior of mechanical components. Minimum Requirements Italian or foreign applicants who have a PhD or equivalent qualification, obtained in Italy or abroad, are eligible for the selection process. Additionally, in the past 5 years, they must have authored, co-authored, or edited a minimum of 15 publications, excluding internal notes or departmental reports. J-18808-Ljbffr
