Static Equipment Engineer

As Static Equipment Engineer , you will join our Department/Function Mechanical Equipment Engineering, in the business line Energy Carriers, conducting the following activities: Perform technical tasks assigned by the Static Equipment Lead, related to design, verification or study activities of Storage Tanks, Air Coolers, Reactors, Columns, Vessels and Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers; Co-ordinate some technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem (i.e. Review Client technical documentation and requirements, Control subcontracted discipline engineering documents); Perform the follow up of supplies with the selected Vendor after the Purchase Order award; Perform the estimation of each item (weight/cost); Prepare detail engineering documentation in compliance with the process requirements and technical specifications (equipment mechanical data sheets, etc.); Optimise the technical solutions ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance. QUALIFICATION: Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Professional English Level LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: permanent contract YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Proven experience ( at least 5 years ) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies; IT SKILLS: focus on static equipment ( mainly on Columns and Vessels ) and has familiarity with PC software for Office Automation and Software for Mechanical Equipment Design (i.e. PV Elite, Compress, or similar). SOFT SKILLS: Excellent problem-solving, effective communication and teamwork skills LOCATION: Milano (MI) MOBILITY: Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 Month) Availability to be relocated abroad in both International Saipem Engineering Centers and or in Construction Site for a minimum of a year Gi Group S.p.A. è autorizzata ad operare dal Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali (Aut.
