No Offer Description The main objective of the assignment is the development of devices operating in the spectral range of 100-500GHz, consisting of metasurfaces and liquid crystals (LC) for the realization of intelligent reconfigurable systems to be applied in the wireless communications sector. Electro-optical characterizations will also be performed to determine the response time of the device as a function of the applied electric field. The surface properties of the metamaterial and liquid crystals will also be studied with different spectroscopic techniques, such as micro-Raman spectroscopy.
