No Offer Description The research is focused on the development of new materials in massive form that can resist the aggression of liquid lead in the temperature range between 450°C and 750°C. The development of new steels with high concentrations of Mn and Al is expected. The experimental activity will include the production of steels, their rolling, heat treatment, and their microstructural and functional characterization also in the context of national and international collaborations. The research is consistent with the PNRR objectives relating to the reduction of fossil fuels consumption and the reduction of the carbon footprint of energy sources. J-18808-Ljbffr
