Job Summary Garo, part of Ingersoll Rand group, is the world leader in liquid ring compressor technology and provides highly customized and engineered compressor packages and solutions for the most demanding applications in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Petrochemical industries. We are looking for a Project Engineer in our Vignate (MI) site with the following main responsibilities. Responsibilities Production of the engineering deliverables under his/her responsibility. Preparation of technical requisition, bid technical evaluation, and vendor follow-up of the items under his/her responsibility. Review and implementation of clients' comments to get approval of documentation. Cooperation with the project team and other company stakeholders to grant fulfillment of the contractual requirements and resolution of technical issues. Participation in project meetings/calls with clients including KoM, HAZOP, and 3D model review. Basic Qualifications Master’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering. 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the manufacturing industry (process packages suppliers), Mechanical/Machinery engineer in engineering companies, or EPC contractors, in the Oil & Gas field. Good engineering fundamentals on process and/or mechanical aspects (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves). Ability to interface with other departments, i.e., Procurement, Project Management, Quality, as well as customers and vendors.
