Wine Sales Director

One of the most important and prestigious Wine Estates of the Chianti Region is hiring his/her Wine Sales Director Responsibilities Design and manage new sales strategies to achieve rapid sales growth Develop creative sales approaches to meet evolving market demands Manage the network of importers and distributors; build strong distributor relationships and explore new opportunities; revamp distributor partnerships and explore alternative distribution strategies Ensure that the stated goals, for both domestic and international markets are achieved Provide detailed performance reports to the Board Inspire and motivate the Sales Team Requirements Proven track record in sales in the wine industry – 5 years experience Proficiency in English and Italian. Fluency in Spanish is a plus Negotiation and relationship-building skills Experience in managing people Experience in reporting and analytics A very good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and ERP systems Positivity, strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, good organization, problem solving attitude are key factors.
