No Offer Description The present research grant is part of the multidisciplinary project VerDigital, whose team of researchers will develop: An applied model of digital critical edition (Work Package 1), with an interactive system of fruition of the score, supporting the employment of alternative variants (Work Package 2), using Vincenzo Bellini’s Adelson e Salvini (1825) as a case study. An applied model of digital critical edition for the composer’s preparatory materials (Work Package 3). Within this context, the research grant has three specific objectives: The technical development of the model of digital critical edition for Adelson e Salvini, edited by the Principal Investigator (WP1); The development of the interactive system of fruition of the score (WP2); Support for the completion of the model of digital critical edition for Bellini’s preparatory materials (WP3), in collaboration with the PI and the research team. The public call with detailed attendance and selection rules (Art 4 and 6) can be found at: http://www-assegni.unipv.it/bandi-dipartimenti-tipo-b/ Main requirements: Degree (with a course duration of not less than 4 years, as referred to in the pre-existing academic regulations pursuant to D.M. n. 509/1999) or post-graduate degrees (pursuant to D.M. n. 509/1999 and to n. 270/2004) awarded by Italian or foreign Universities recognized as equivalent - for the purposes of establishing the equivalence, candidates must provide the necessary documentation to enable the evaluating board to proceed with the qualification assessment. Scientific or professional curriculum suitable for conducting the research activity. If available, any Ph.D. title (Art 2- par. 1). Further specific assessable qualifications (see Art. 6): Master degree or equivalent qualification, obtained either from an Italian or a foreign institution, with a thesis in Musicology (preferably in the field of Digital Humanities) or in Digital Humanities (preferably in the field of Musicology); Proven knowledge of the most commonly used music notation softwares (Sibelius and Finale in particular); Proven knowledge of the most recent tools for the development of digital critical editions of musical texts (namely: MEI and TEI, Edirom, Verovio, and MEI-Friend); Proven experience in the most up-to-date literature on the subject.
