Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor

Kenna Recruitment are currently looking to speak to experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyors. Our client, a £40m turnover principal contractor who specialise in facades are a growing, forward thinking business who have just been awarded over £20m worth of contracts in the Midlands. They treat all staff with the same level of respect and operate a modern way of construction. Typical projects range from 1m to 10m and are typically within the residential sector (RC Frame) They are offering (depending on experience) up to £105,000 for the right candidate or they are happy to discuss on a freelance basis up to potentially £450 per day. They seek an experienced leader, from a qualified commercial management background to step in and oversee both projects across the Midlands. They must have a proven track record of delivering external cladding works for big contractors and have strong organisational skills, as they will be responsible for leading a small quantity surveying team in the region. They are looking for someone to start on the last week of January 2025 so have opened the interview process as of today. The ideal candidate will have strong contractual knowledge, outstanding residential experience and come from a degree qualified background in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
