Global Supply Chain & Procurement Manager

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Manage Purchasing and Planning Team Raise and approve, using Purchasing and Planning tools, Purchase Orders for goods, materials, components and services in accordance with specified technical, quality and delivery requirements Analyse market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet company standards and project requirements Monitor, review and maintain inventory levels in accordance with the business needs and having the confidence to amend should it be required Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure high-quality deliverables Prepare and present procurement reports and budgets to senior management daily for back order and replenishment reports, and more strategic reporting such as Pivot Forecasting Stay up-to-date with market trends, changes in the industry, and advancements in procurement technologies Attend monthly management meetings and daily meetings to provide updates to wider management team Establish, implement and track Key Performance Indicators Undertake multiple projects with internal stakeholders for eg Aspen re-work, ensuring work is tracked, costed, invoiced and concluded in a timely manner Undertake multiple projects with external stakeholders for eg PIM and ERP Liaise with Demand Planner to forecast adjustments which will drive purchasing decisions Logistics management of shipments both to and from locations Responsible for manging internal and external Sales & Operations Planning meetings Sign off Quality documents Expert knowledge to oversee management of SIA Purchasing tool Work closely with Manufacturing Department to manage aspects of production key tasks and rework requirements Education/Work Experience: CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Previous experience in Procurement in a manufacturing environment Have experience of working with global suppliers
