Maths Teacher (QTS) Location: Derby City Salary: Competitive Contract: Temp to perm for the right candidate About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a large secondary school in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching Maths and committed to inspiring students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Maths lessons for a range of abilities. Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback. Setting and marking homework and assessments. Developing innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning. Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and support student learning. Attending relevant professional development opportunities. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) At least 6 months’ teaching experience Strong subject knowledge in Maths Excellent classroom management skills Ability to inspire and motivate students Commitment to raising standards Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 Experience with Science practical work A track record of raising student attainment Why apply through Education Personnel?
