Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer - Chester at TXM TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a maintenance engineer in the Snodland, Kent area. It is working on a large distribution on a long term contract for one of the UK's leading retail distribution companies. The job will cover general weekly, monthly and quarterly checks, planned and unplanned maintennace duties as well as general fabric checks around the facility. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with overtime on offer. The hourly pay rate (PAYE) is £17.48 and will be paid weekly on Fridays. This is a temporary contract for 6-8 months however can be extended if things are going well. Safe & Legal Checks These are weekly, monthly and 3 monthly checks Yard inspection Legionella Fire alarms Emergency doors Emergency lights Loading bays PPMs If there has been a near miss or an incident at another store (Loading bay dock leveller broke at 12ft up) - your depot would then put in a prevention method to ensure this doesn't happen UPMs - Unplanned preventative maintenance Resets to fire alarms and sprinklers if they are turned on If fridges breakdown, leak or stop working Loading bay equipment like doors, levellers, lifts If you are looking for a new secure long term contract with good opportunities to earn overtime each week please apply now or reach Chester at TXM Recruit.
